Day After Day is a series of photographs by one of Japan’s leading poets, Shuntaro Tanikawa. “Since he was young, he has been fond of machines such as radios and cameras, and since his twenties, he has captured everyday moments in his mind with twin-lens reflex cameras. Even now, the negatives and solids are neatly organized in boxes, and the film photographs convey the richness of the everyday moments of the Showa era, even after more than 60 years.” (publisher’s blurb)
