A detailed collection of hand-coloured erotic plates with a pseudonymous preface by the artist under his Chevalier Remy moniker. The second edition published around 1920 by the artist with the plate L’Amour Astronome replaced by Hesitation aux Portes du Temple. One of 100 numbered copies (from a total edition of 110), the title, colophon, and illustrations each numbered and signed ‘Remigius Eques’. DUTEL 1411, PIA 349, PERCEAU 321.
Title plate tanned from folder. 1.5cm closed tear to left margin of Hesitation and colophon plates. Very Good Condition.
