Single issue of the Australian physique journal, combining physical culture with recurring nudist and naturist themes and undercurrents of eugenics. Founded by gym owner Alfred J. Briton, ‘Health and Physical Culture’ was issued monthly from May 1929 to January 1943. This issue with the cover story ‘A Week End With The Near Nudes’, W. F. Glover’s account of the Sun Bake Cult near Sydney. Also an article, ‘The Yellow Peril’, on Japan in Manchuria.
