English cloth reprint (c. 1900) of a romance from Brooklyn “working-girl” novelist Laura Jean Libbey (1862-1924). Libbey was among the most widely reprinted American writers of dime novel fiction in her day, this work however scarce, with no copies of any edition currently in the trade, and only 5 holdings in OCLC.

Somewhat cocked. Minor rubbing and mottling to cloth, spine head and tail lightly pushed. Hinges tender. Good Condition.
