The unrevised doctoral thesis of Rama Shanker Avasty, who died shortly after being awarded his doctorate, making this his only major publication, which was chosen as the first in a series of thesis to be published by the University. Foreword by Banarsi Prasad Saksena. This copy from the collection of the controversial Tattersalls heir, Prof. V.J.A. Flynn.
